Bone Broth for Greyhounds

Some feedback from the foster carers...

“Pippa is usually a very fussy eater, she usually picks through her meals and leaves more than she eats. She loves the broth and licks the bowl clean. It has been really good as being an older dog we are always encouraging her to eat more.”

“We had Lara in our care for a few weeks and it was perfect timing with the bone broth as she required soft meals. We mixed the syrup up with water – she absolutely loved it. Over the weeks she was with us the improvements in her coat were amazing. She went from having a rough patchy coat to having a jet black, sleek and shiny coat. She had lots of changes with diet, medication and brushing but I have no doubt the bone broth has contributed to her huge overall improvement.”

At Taranaki Bio Extracts we’re pleased to support Greyhounds as Pets (GAP) with supply of our human grade beef bone broth via their foster programme.

GAP is a registered New Zealand charity rehoming greyhounds that are no longer suitable for racing with over 2000 completed adoptions testament to their success. The foster programme is an integral part of GAP’s rehoming system supporting adjustment to life outside of a racing environment. The hounds who require foster care may be those recovering from health issues, or hounds needing further education to teach them about life as a pet. Up to 30 hounds are in foster care at any one time across New Zealand.

Our Beef Bone Broth is manufactured from New Zealand free-range, grass-fed beef bones and supplied as a pet nutrition ingredient to petfood manufacturers.  While it’s not a retail product, it’s nutritional profile makes it a healthy supplement for the hounds.

The healthful formula has no salt, onion, garlic, or other toxic ingredients for pets, and it’s FREE from additives, colourings, flavour enhancers, GMOs and other nasties.
