Overseas Market Access Requirements (OMARs) are agreed upon and documented by New Zealand’s MPI (Ministry for Primary Industries) and the authorities in the market that the product is being exported to. An OMAR covers aspects such as raw materials, product naming, processing parameters, labelling, and definitions, and varies for each market, country, or region.
