    Yes, Taranaki Bio Extracts is registered with the United States Department of Agriculture.  We are audited quarterly to maintain compliance.

    No, we are not certified to manufacture organic broths and extracts.

    An Export Certificate is an official assurance from MPI (Ministry for Primary Industries) in New Zealand, confirming that a product meets the requirements set by the New Zealand Government and any other conditions for exporting to a specific overseas market – Overseas Market Access Requirements (OMARS)

  • 5. What are OMARS?

    Overseas Market Access Requirements (OMARs) are agreed upon and documented by New Zealand’s MPI (Ministry for Primary Industries) and the authorities in the market that the product is being exported to. An OMAR covers aspects such as raw materials, product naming, processing parameters, labelling, and definitions, and varies for each market, country, or region.
